Beer Run Shiner Brewery and Duff Brewery are joining forces to bring their signature beer to market in 2017.
The brewery, which was founded in 2007 by Duff beer founder Dave Shiner, announced plans to open in the new year with two locations, both in Toronto.
Shiner Brewery will open a new tasting room and taproom at the former Dufferin Brewing Co. location on Bloor Street West, the brewery said in a news release.
The new Shiner will open with two taprooms, one on Duffer in Toronto’s North York neighbourhood and another in Montreal’s Saint-Henri borough, according to the brewery.
Shiner’s existing tasting room in Toronto, however, is not slated to open until later this year.
Duff Brewery is set to open a tasting room at its current location on Bayview Avenue in Toronto on Jan. 10, the company said in its news release, which did not identify a date for the opening.
The brewery will also offer a two-year-old brewpub program that will have four locations in Canada.
Shiners will operate out of a warehouse in Montreal.
Shiners will also operate a small retail store at the new locations in Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba.
