(AP) Madison Beer Company says tickets for the state’s first-ever annual beer tasting are available for sale for $15.
The ticket will go on sale Monday.
The event is set for Monday, June 25, at 7 p.m. at the brewery in Madison.
The beer will be served with the purchase of beer tiki, a $25 voucher for a one-night stay at a hotel and a $10 voucher for the purchase at the restaurant.
The tasting is being organized by the Madison Beer Society, a nonprofit organization that promotes beer as a “luxury beverage” and “local craft.”
The tasting takes place at the Madison Public Library in the basement of the historic Public Library Building in Madison, Wisconsin.
The event, which will feature an array of breweries from across the state, is being held in conjunction with the Madison Brewers Guild, a local organization that offers craft beer tours and tastings for the general public.
The beer tasting is sponsored by the Brewers Guild of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Brewers Association.
The Madison Beer Association was formed in 2010 by Milwaukee brewers to promote and support the state and region’s growing craft brewing industry.
The group is a division of the Brewers Association of America.
