The Kansas City, Kan., festival for beer lovers kicked off on Sunday, when thousands of beer lovers turned out for the first time in the city’s history.
The event, which has been in the works for more than a year, is slated to kick off at the citywide Civic Center in downtown Kansas City.
The festivities will feature a lineup of more than 400 breweries from across the country.
More than 600 beer vendors, vendors of all sizes, food trucks, live music and entertainment will take over the downtown square for the four-day event.
Tickets range from $30 to $200, depending on the location and location’s ability to accommodate large crowds.
Kansas City’s Civic Center will be transformed into a festival space for the festivities.
